Unexpectedly on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the age of 94. Walter Lavallee was predeceased by his wife Nellie and his son Michael. He was a loving father to Roger, Robert, Daniel (Sally), Mary Elisabeth (Richard Pinos), Dina (Allan Clark), and Lucy Lavallee. Proud grandfather of Thomas, Trevor, Adam, Noah, Peter, Lily, Marieclaire, Abrham, Kalli, Ferrin, and Jared. He is survived by his brother Vincent and sister Anita.

Friends may visit the family at the Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Carleton Place at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery, with a reception in St. Mary’s Church Hall.
