It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Michael Edward Lavergne, on Friday, May 16, 2025, in London, Ontario.
Mike will be deeply missed by his daughters Leigh-Ann (Jason), Brandie (Mike), Melissa, and Darlene (Darren).

One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren Savannah, Maddison, Jordyn, Hunter, Aubree, Keaton, and Jesse.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Yvonne (2022), parents Lucien and Isabelle, stepmother Rita, son-in-law Al Erdodi (2018), and siblings Aline, Roger, Suzanne, and Shirley.

Mike will be lovingly remembered by siblings Victor (Jean), Suzanne, Paulette, Tom, Mary Lou (Kim), Lucille (late Victor), Lorette (late Michael), Helen (late John),
and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Windsor and raised in Amherstburg, Mike joined the Navy in 1966, serving proudly as a communications officer in Halifax for 8 years.
Afterward, he began a 31-year career with Dow Chemical in Sarnia as a loss prevention officer, taking great pride in his service to both country and company.

The family extends sincere gratitude to the ER staff in Sarnia and the care team at Victoria Hospital in London for their compassion during his final days.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Sarnia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Royal Canadian Legion (cheques only at the funeral home, please).
