LAVIN, Agnes Lavin

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Agnes Lavin (nee Garant) at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Bernard Lavin, loving mother of Cathy (Richard), Susanne (Dave), Michelle, David and Paul (Christa), caring grandmother of Bryan (Dana), Bradley (Camille), Jylianne (Regan), Nicholas, Alyssa and Emma, dear great-grandmother to Colton and Renley, and cherished sister of Yvonne (Dennis). Agnes is predeceased by her parents Alfred and Marie, as well as her siblings Alice, Eugene (Eileen) and Raymond (Sandy). She is survived by her in-laws Don, Geraldine, Alma and Bernadette.

A visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7235) on Tuesday January 27th, 2026 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday January 28th, 2026 at Ste. Anne’s Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd E) from 10am until the funeral Mass at 11am. Burial to follow at Ste. Anne’s Cemetery. In honor of Agnes, donations may be made to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
