LAWHORN, Franklin “Frank Douglas Lawhorn

Peacefully on Monday, September 1, 2025, at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Frank Lawhorn passed away at the age of 81 two days shy of his 82nd birthday. Beloved husband of Pat Lawhorn. Father of Doug and Aaron (Tracy). Cherished by his grandson Alex (Shelby), great-grandson Alexander, and his special daughter-in-law Teresa Adams; by his grandson Cody (Mareica), great-grandchildren Marleigh, Leigha, and Josie; and by his grand-daughter Samantha and great-grandson Greyson. Treasured papa of Wyatt, Colton, Elena and their mother/ Frank’s granddaughter Emily (Jake). Lovingly remembered by Pat’s family, brother Bill (Jane) and their children Sarah (Perry), Adam (Stella), Matthew (Julia), Kelly (Jessica), and David (Kristine). Special great-uncle to Asher, Portia, Nirvan, Shantipriya, Aubrey, Levi, Noelle, Frances, Charlotte, and Willa. Dear brother-in-law of Janice Malloy and her son Kyle (Tina), and Bill Bell. Predeceased by his father Robert, mother Anna, sister Janet, brother-in-law Bob, and sister-in-law Marie. A special thank you to the staff at Lambton Meadowview Villa and the Marshall Gowland Manor Day Program facilitators for their love, care, and support of both Frank and Pat. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a memorial service starting at 12:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Alzheimer Society Sarnia-Lambton, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lambton Meadowview Villa Women’s Auxiliary, or the Marshall Gowland Manor Day Program (cheques only at the funeral home please).
