Peacefully on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 82. Jim Lawrence, beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Jones). Loving father to Declan MacGowan of Oshawa, and Heather Parr of Port Perry. Cherished grandfather to Darien Parr, Erika Crichton, Alison MacDonald, and Amberle MacDonald. Proud great-grandfather to Skylar and Maxxton Crichton. Dear brother of Reginald (deceased) and his wife Ruth of Regina and John and his wife Bonnie of Saskatoon.

The family of Jim and Maggie Lawrence will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Tuesday, September 30th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate their lives will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Private interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
