LEBLANC, Anne LeBlanc
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce Anne’s peaceful passing on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Lakeridge Hospital in Oshawa at the tender age of 50, following a very difficult battle with an extremely rare form of colon cancer. She showed incredible strength, courage, and grace throughout this illness, never losing hope, or the warmth and love that defined her. Her strength will be remembered and lives on in our hearts and the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.

Loving and caring wife of James Bean, and amazing devoted mother of two, son Tyler Leblanc-Bean, and daughter Taylor Leblanc-Bean (Tyler Gibson). She also leaves behind her loving parents, Claudette Leblanc (Langdon), and Ron Leblanc; her sister Lorraine Leblanc (Phillip Gauthier); her nephews, Hayden Leblanc-Gauthier (predeceased) (Monica McLean), and Raiden Leblanc-Gauthier (A’riah Chisholm); and many wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins (too many to mention.) She was the cherished granddaughter of Roy Langdon & Germaine Langdon (Paquette) (both predeceased). Also loving daughter in law to Sue and Dennis Bean; sister and brother in law, Aneta Biesiada and Scott Bean, nephew Shaden & niece Aviana Bean. She will also always be remembered by all her dearest friends whom she loved with all her heart. She loved “her girlies” so dearly.

Anne was a passionate internet doctor, journalist, photographer, and both criminal and paranormal investigator. She loved all her “jobs.” She absolutely loved her some good spooky / creepy stuff so “of course” she came to pass of this extremely rare form of cancer on Friday the 13th, a day noted for its bad luck. One of Anne’s many famous quotes (we all called T-Shirts), that she always said jokingly, was: “If it was going to happen to anyone, of course it would only happen to me.”

We’d like to extend a huge Thank You to all who visited & supported Anne (and family) throughout this difficult battle. You are all greatly appreciated. We also thank you for all the thoughtful comfort items, food, certificates, and monetary donations we received during the course of her illness which raised Anne’s spirits, made her just a little bit more comfortable, and allowed us to just spend a little more time with her. She was so thankful and dearly touched by all the love, thoughts, prayers, and positive vibes each of you sent her over the last 13 weeks.

Oshawa Celebration of Life will be held Saturday March 7th, 2026 between 1pm to 4pm at our family home, Greater Sudbury Celebration of life will be held Saturday April 11th 2026 between 1pm to 4pm at the Carrefour Sen Rheal Belisle 2777 Main St. Blezard Valley, where we can all come together and celebrate her life, who she was, and all that she loved. This occasion will be casual attire, as Anne would have it no other way; No fuss no muss, she’d say! In lieu of flowers, donations kindly direct your support to Humane Society (Durham Region), Ontario SPCA / Animal Services in her Honour, or the Colorectal Cancer of Canada (CCC) / Canadian Cancer Society.

Please hold her memory close, as she will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered. Anne, we all loved you so very much. Rest in peace.
