It is with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Gary Leblanc, on October 5, 2025.
Loving brother of Linda, Richard, and Michel (Beverley).
Cherished uncle to Adam (Sara), Bailey (Seth), Ryan, and the late Rachel Leblanc, and great-uncle to Maia.
Son of the late Vincent and Marion (Shane) Leblanc
He is survived by his Uncle Laurent (late Deanna), Uncle Bob (Joanne), Aunt Jean (late Jack), Aunt Donalda (late Arnold), and many loving cousins.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Hanna, Dr. Carter, Anne and Vicki, for the compassion, respect, and dignity that they consistently demonstrated in their care for Gary.
Special thanks and gratitude to the staff at Au Vieux Duluth, especially Brianna L., patrons Claude C., Maureen O. and Terry H., and to Dr. Saleh and the Emergency Team at the CCH, on duty on October 5th.
Most importantly, to all of you who touched Gary’s life in a positive, meaningful way – thank you.
The Mass of the Resurrection and Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, at 2900 Second St. E., Cornwall, at 10:00 a.m., on October 25th, 2025, followed by the Rite of Committal in Notre Dame Cemetery. The family will be in attendance at the church, at 9:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gary’s memory to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Canadian Cancer Society, or Heart Institute, would be appreciated.
