It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerard Joseph LeBlond, who passed away suddenly at Lakeridge Hospital in Whitby on April 2, 2025, at the age of 81. Gerard will be deeply missed by his children Joseph, Janice, and Jason, his beloved grandchildren JD, Nick, Sarah (Gerrit), David, and his cherished great-grandson Wyatt.

Born to Marie Gosselin and Aldea LeBlond, Gerard was one of ten siblings. He is predeceased by his brothers Maurice, Marcel, Andre and his sisters Andrea and Alice. He is survived by his sisters Julie, Louise, and Rita, and his brother Robert. Gerard loved his family wholeheartedly and was deeply proud of each one. He was always ready to lend a hand whenever he could.

His humour, infectious smile, and joyful laughter will be missed by all who knew him. Though he is gone, he leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humour, and cherished memories that will forever echo in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at McEachnie Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Duffin Meadows Cemetery at 11:45 a.m.
