LECHNER, Eleonore Lechner

Died after a short illness June 19, 2025 at the age of 85 in the city of Toronto, Ontario. Eleonore was born on March 27, 1940 in Zeltweg Styria, Austria.

Eleonore was active as an artist for most of her life until she retired. Her most notable jobs included scenic painting for the CBC; Canadian Opera Company; National Ballet of Canada; Shaw Festival Theater; Theater an der Wien, Vienna, Austria; Stadttheater und Musikdirektion, Aachen, Germany; Landestheater Coburg, Bavaria, Germany.

She is survived by her two sons, Hani Habashi and Hatem Habashi.
