On Saturday July 12th, Janette Lerue Ledwith of Milton, Ontario passed away at the age of 90 years, our beloved, sister, aunt and friend.

She will be lovingly remembered by her brother; Robert, nieces and nephews; Wendy (Jaime), David (Kathleen), Kate, Adrian (Deborah), Craig, Christopher (Lee) plus numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Austan; brother, Ralph; brother, Paul and her parents: Kenneth and Helen.

Janette was a caregiver and a very engaged community volunteer involved in choirs, mindfulness and women’s groups, Tai Chi health recovery program instructor, driver for the Canadian Cancer Society, neighborhood working groups. She was a proponent of women’s solidarity and an explorer of philosophy and spirituality. Janette spent many years working as a teacher, church organist and choir master.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
