Passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, in his 74th year.

Husband of Nancy (Quennell) Lee.

Loved by his children Molly Lee of Listowel, Sean & Michele Lee of Listowel, Michael & Ramona Lee of Toronto, Erin Lee of Waterloo, and Quin Lee of Listowel, and by his grandchildren Cassidy (Bailey), William, Olive, and Fred.

Brother of Brian & Linda Lee, and Heather & David Smith, all of London, and remembered also by Nancy’s family, and their nieces and nephews.

Predeceaesd by his parents Fred & Elaine (Machan) Lee, and by his parents-in-law Bill & June (Kidd) Quennell.

Ken was born and raised in Listowel and met his wife Nancy while they were both in elementary school. They were married in March of 1972 at Trinity United Church in Listowel. Together, they raised five children, including their grandson Quin.

Ken worked for the Board of Education for over 30 years, where he taught at several area elementary schools. He retired from teaching as Principal at Elma Township Public School. He is affectionately remembered by countless students and fellow teachers.

Ken and Nancy enjoyed travelling together during the early years of Ken’s retirement, and these trips were always fondly remembered by them.

He is known by family and friends for his sense of humour, his love of history and reading, and his consistently excellent advice.

In his final years, Ken faced his declining health with courage, dignity, and a quiet thoughtfulness, that was truly admired by those around him.

Private family services have been entrusted to the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.

Ken and his family were very grateful for the care he received from the doctors, nurses, and the staff at Listowel Memorial Hospital during the final months of his life. Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
