LEGER, Denise Léger

It is with deep sadness that we share the peaceful passing of Marie Denise Léger, age 82, surrounded by family.

Denise was a woman of deep Christian faith, a lifelong member of St-Félix de Valois Parish, where she found the strength to meet each day with courage and grace. A loving mother, cherished grandmother, devoted sister, and loyal friend, she will be remembered for her compassion, selflessness, resilience, and her warm heart – our angel on earth.

She will be greatly missed by her beloved children, Marc (and partner Cayley Sorochan) and Julie (and her husband Paul Benford), her treasured grandson David Murtagh (and his partner Rachael Cranston), and dear siblings Gisèle Lebrun, Micheline Bryant, and Lionel Lebrun, along with many nieces and nephews, and her dear friends Germaine Jean-Louis and Suzanne Malette.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Felix de Valois Church on November 12, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the Arthritis Society or masses offered in her name.
May she rest in eternal peace, remembered for the love she so freely gave.
