MARION, Leo Marion Obituary

MARION, Leo – Mr. Leo Marion peacefully with his family by his side at Hospice Cornwall on Thursday December 10, 2015 at the age of 72 years.

Beloved husband of the late Anita Periard. Loved father of J.C. Groleau (Gaetane), Rick Groleau (Joan), late Kim Marion, Holly Marion, Tammy Merpaw (Dan), late Joanne Mondoux (Daniel) and Diane Avery (Larry). Leo will be sadly missed by his 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Dear brother of Ernest (Lorna), Claude (Carolyn), Lucien and Therese Fleury (Mike). Predeceased by his father Gerard Marion, his mother Simone Longtin and his step-father Theo Gravelle. Also predeceased by his brothers Gerald (Rejeanne), Andre (Micheline) and Aurele ‘Ray’.

Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, Ontario where visitation will be held on Tuesday December 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and again on Wednesday December 16th from 12 noon-1:00 PM. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in Ste-Thérèse-de-Lisieux Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday December 16th at 1:30 PM. Cremation to follow with Rite of Committal at a later date in Notre Dame Cemetery.

If so desired, contributions in Leo’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Hospice Cornwall or Pulmonary Fibrosis would be appreciated by the family.
