BAIRD, Leona Beth (Kirkpatrick) Baird – Obituary

BAIRD, Leona Beth (nee Kirkpatrick) –   Peacefully at Avalon Care Centre, Orangeville, on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the age of 86.

Beloved wife of the late Harold Baird. Dear mother of Brenda Marotta (John), Jim (Trish), Richard and Jennifer Henry (Jay). Cherished grandmother of Kimberley, Victoria, Hailey, Logan and Myles. Remembered by her brother Gerald “Bun” Kirkpatrick (Jan), predeceased by Ruby.

Also remembered by her sister Lois MacLeod (Earl). Predeceased by her brother Ken Kirkpatrick (Leona). Leona will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

Memorial visitation will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 1-4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Leona in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.

A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m.
