LEWIS, Sandy Kathleen Lewis

It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Sandy Lewis (nee Frey) on February 4th, 2026 at the age of 64.

Sandy was preceded in death by her mother and father, Betty & Joseph Frey.

She is survived by her loving daughter and best friend, Brittany, as well as her furry companions Mia & Marley, Sister and Brother-in-Law Deb & Vern Walters, Brother Joe (Carmen) Frey, and all of her “kids” she so graciously accepted as her own, and whom considered her a second mother.

It goes without saying, Sandy touched many lives, with her kindness, generosity and raw humour. She was well known and loved in the community, through the optometry clinic she worked in for nearly two decades, where colleagues and patients quickly became like family to her.

Sandy also fostered a community of friendships, with her lifelong best friend Cheryl Tovey-Krasa, as well Bill Rand, Penny & Jim, Nadia & Mac, Nina & Shane.

The family would also like to recognize and thank Dr. Nick Biasutti for his kindness and excellent care.
