LIDSTONE , Edith Lidstone (née Corrigan)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edith Lidstone (née Corrigan) on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025 at the Ottawa General Hospital at the age of 70 years.

Beloved wife of Ross Lidstone for 49 years. Loving mother of Pamela Lidstone and of the late Andrew Lidstone. Cherished sister of Bill Corrigan (Barbara), Lorraine Clarke (Dean), Helen Corrigan, and Michael Corrigan.

She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is predeceased by her parents William and Patricia Corrigan (née Moran), and by her sisters Joan Corrigan and Margaret-Ann Corrigan.

Edith’s family warmly invites all family and friends to gather for a time of visitation and remembrance on Wednesday, July 30th, 2025 from 9 am to 10:30 am at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). Followed by a chapel service at 11 am.

In honor of her memory and in lieu of flowers, the family invites you to consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
