Alvin James Hubert (Heinz) Lintner, age 93, of Whitby, Ontario passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

He was the loving husband of Rose ‘Marie’ Lintner (nee Logeman) for 70 years. Cherished father of Lori Wood (Stephen), Louanne Middleton (Alan), and Linda Groen (Martin). Beloved Grandpa of Lindsey, Jason, Jodi, James, Jeff, Erica, Nicole, Kaitlin, and Madison. Great-grandfather to Megan, Logan, and Arizona. Survived by his sister Mary Pipher (Bud) and brother Doug. Predeceased by sister Helen and brothers Ron, Charles (Tod), and Don.

Alvin was known for his ability to fix anything, help anybody and take care of everyone. He loved hunting, fishing and most of all being at the farm. His quiet yet strong presence will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation for Alvin will take place on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, ON.
