Lisa Marie Johnston

Surrounded by her family, Lisa passed away peacefully at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on Tuesday November 25th, 2025 at the age of 59.
She was the loving wife of nearly 27 years to Michael Johnston. Beloved mother to Christopher (Elizabeth), Scott, Aaron (Amber) and stepmother of Shawn and Kevin (Terilyn). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Aya, Gabriella, Sophie and by her mother Marie (Frank-deceased). She is survived by her sister and her In-Laws Pauline (Melvin) and sister-in-law Carol (Frank).
Lisa was the manager of Carlton Cards for many years before its closing. She was the Supervisor at Pilot Diamond and absolutely loved her job. An avid outdoor person, she enjoyed camping, family BBQ’s, motorcycle rides, hiking and fishing, but most importantly spending time with her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who had the opportunity to know her.
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
A special thanks to Dr. Vaughan and Dr. Jinnah and the staff at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice and the Sudbury Cancer Clinic for the care and compassion given to Lisa during her stay. Your kindness did not go unnoticed.
