LITTLE, Bob Little

A life-long resident of Chatham, Robert Little passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice surrounded by his family on December 2, 2025 at the age of 73.

Born and raised in Hamilton, Bob was the son of the late Robert and Laurene (née Webster) Little.

Beloved husband of 44 years to Kathy (née Kefalas).

Loving father to Kary Martin (Gabriel) and Rob Little (Dannielle).

Adored grandfather “Deepa” to Rebecca Derksen and step grandfather “Bobbo” to Olivia and Cooper Martin.

Brother to Anna Avery and Susie Kolne and predeceased by siblings David Little and Francis MacDonald.

He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

A 1975 civil engineering graduate of McMaster University, Bob devoted 32 years to Union Gas before enjoying a well-earned retirement filled with travel alongside family and friends. Known for his easy charm and endless stories, Bob’s gift for conversation led him to become a dedicated Canadian Cancer Society driver for 17 years. Bob cherished life’s simple joys – spending time with his family, sharing weekly lunches with his buddies, and creating moments of laughter wherever he went. His warmth and humour touched countless lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Wanting to be remembered with joy, Bob requested a Celebration of Life, which will be held at a later date.

Donations made in memory of Robert to the Canadian Cancer Society or Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
