With great sadness, we share the passing of our mother Janet Lockwood on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Loving mother of Jay (Mary), David (Huguette) and Linda (Stephen). Proud grandmother of Chadd (Trista), Christopher (predeceased), Drew (Jordan), Natalie (Casey), Michael (Lauren). Great-grandmother of Spencer, Hudson and Garrett, Leo, Luna, Cate and Charlie.

Predeceased by her sisters, Catherine Rostic, Sally McBride and Jo Wild. Fondly remembered by June Lockwood, Ron and Jane Lockwood.

She will be remembered not only for her impeccable style and effortless class but the way she treated others, with patience, generosity and sincerity. She loved knitting, curling and playing bridge.

Thank you to the staff of St. Peter’s at Chedoke for the wonderful care of our mom.

In honour of her spirit, the family asked that in lieu of flowers, you do an act of kindness for someone you love or tell someone what they mean to you.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Donald Brown Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Edgewater Manor, 518 Fruitland Road, Stoney Creek from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
