LOEBACH, Bill Loebach
May 25, 1931 - June 28, 2025
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Bill Loebach on June 28, 2025, in Windsor at the age of 94. He is now reunited with his parents, siblings, and friends who have gone before him.
Bill shared almost 70 incredible years of marriage with the love of his life, Ann Loebach (Brandreth). He is the loving father to Frances Loebach, Annette Loebach Bater (Craig), Greg Loebach (Barb), John Loebach (Laura Rogers), Rick Loebach (Chris), and Karen Loebach-Smith (John).
Bill is the proud grandfather to Ashley (Charles), Sophie (Tristan), Geneviève (Daniel), Sébastian (Isabelle), Myreille (Vincent), Colin (Heather), Derek (Jessica), Karl (Dijla), Ben, Madeline (Alex), Stephanie (Ben), Jake (Lexi), Sarah (Landan), Rachel (Rob), Emily, Serena (Lewis), and Harrison. He was also blessed to be the great-grandfather to 17 great-grandchildren.
Ann wishes to express deep gratitude to all her children and extended family for their tremendous help and support, including her niece Anne Haas, who was their flower girl at their wedding. Bill will be forever remembered by his large extended family and many incredible friends.
William “Bill” Loebach was born to John and Mary Loebach (Linder) on a farm in Gosfield South, Essex County, as the youngest of 9 children. He is predeceased by his siblings: Loretta, Eleanore, Norbert, Edmund, Father Francis, Irene, Vincent, and Lawrence.
A talented baseball player, Bill was once offered a professional contract by the Philadelphia Phillies but had to decline due to a knee injury. After meeting Ann, he dedicated his life to family, raising six children. He retired from Chrysler Canada after 38 years and spent retirement enjoying horse races, golf, cards, and especially baseball. A devoted Detroit Tigers and Toronto Maple Leafs fan, Bill was a man of deep faith and long-time member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Bill was a remarkable man who deeply valued family, faith, and tradition. His impact will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 4, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m., all at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (4401 Mt Royal Dr, Windsor, ON N9G 2C5). Procession to Heavenly Rest Cemetery for burial to follow.
