LOGAN, Felton Kirk Logan

August 24, 1949 - December 6, 2025
LOGAN, Felton Kirk Logan

He passed away Saturday Dec. 6th 2025 surrounded by his family. Felton Logan was born on Aug. 24, 1949 to the late Randolph Logan and surviving Florence Logan (102). Randolph and Florence had 4 children, Wayne (Linda) Logan, Beverley Chase, Felton Logan and Jocelyn (Sidney) Chase, making Felton the third. While attending school in 9th grade he negotiated a deal with his mother. He said if he can drop out of school he would find a job and stay there until he retires. He found the job at the city of Windsor continuing to become a waste collector. He worked there 43 years and retired.

Felton Logan was a son, dad and grandfather but to his closest friends he was Puffy. Often also being referred to as Jughead, he was a member of T.G.T Club where he would hang out with his friends in his younger years. Music was a large part of T.G.T Club and Felton’s life as he enjoyed playing his keyboard in the basement. He also was in his marching band where he played the drums earlier on in his childhood. Not only was he in the T.G.T. Club, he also loved roller skating at his local rink, taking the disco era in style.

Throughout his life he met Sandra, his partner, and had two children Lamont and Marnie. His family grew even bigger with his 6 grand kids, Lamont Jr. (Monty), Antoine, Antoinette, Maiyah, Chy’na, and Chance. While others knew him to dance, his kids and grandchildren and local neighbors knew him as the guy who feeds the squirrels and other animals. He loved animals and would enjoy telling his family stories of what the animals would do and how they would be expecting him to come to give them food. Felton also enjoyed movies that were action packed and timeless, consistently going on Saturday movie nights with his family.

A story from his sister Jocelyn expressing not only his love of animals but his love for the Most High reads as such:

“A Few years ago, in the morning Felton and I were sitting at Mom’s (Florence) kitchen table just after he finished feeding the cats, squirrels and the birds. The conversations were always about the Lord Jesus. Felton wanted me to tell him where the scripture was about “In God’s light we shall see light.” I told him it’s somewhere in Psalms so I went into Mom’s Strong’s Concordance book and looked it up. Psalm 36: 9-10 – For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. O continue thy loving kindness unto them that know thee: and thy righteousness to the upright in heart. (KJV)

So, it is still marked off in an old Bible with Felton’s name written in it. Now it’s our turn, meditate on it and daily ask the Lord Jesus of Nazareth for “HIS LIGHT” Shalom, Shalom!

For this is what Felton would have wanted us all to do.”

Felton Logan was a one-of-a-kind man that will be greatly missed by his loved ones but remembered for his unique look on life, funny stories and generous heart.
