It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Natale Lombardo at the age of 93, on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 peacefully at home.

“Beloved” husband to Lidia nee Martino for 70 years. Cherished father to Rosalie, Rosario (Denise), Sandra (Erich). Dear Nonno to Carolyn (Travis), Brian (Melanie), Merissa (Anthony), Kirsten (Troy), Michael (Sarah) and Melanie (Mason). Proud great Nonno to Brayden and Maya.

As a young man, Nat immigrated from Martone, Calabria, Italy in 1953 on his own and landed in Toronto looking for new and rewarding opportunities. Soon after, he met his lifelong partner Lidia whom he married in 1955. Nat worked very diligently and was an excellent provider to his family. He belonged to many social clubs, loved to dance, travel, go to the casino and spend time with his family and friends. Everyone will remember Nat as an avid gardener who spent countless hours tending to his vegetables. Nat will be sadly missed by his extended family and many friends near and far.

Natale lived his life generously, always giving to others, and in his final act he has given his soul to God.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
