Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, October 27, 2025. A Celebration of Life was held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, in her honour.

Beloved daughter of the late Johanna (Rietveld) and Eugene Pinsonneault.
Loving mother of Rhea (Toomer) Heath (Dave) and Tyler Ford (Evelyn Greer). Proud and devoted grandmother of Kaleigh Heath, and Amelia and Eleanor Ford.

Loving wife to Steve Broad and is fondly remembered by Steve’s children Nolan Broad (Pamela Grenier) and Jordan Broad (Nevena Gazibara), remembered as “Grandma Su” to Emmett, Aria, and Niko Gazibara-Broad.

Susan made her home in Woodstock, Ontario, where she shared many happy years with Steve. She was a devoted member of The Rock Bible Church, where her faith, friendship, and generosity touched the lives of many.

Predeceased by her brother Bill Pinsonneault (Cynthia). Fondly remembered by Bill and Cynthia’s children: the late Kirk Pinsonneault; Billy Jo (Pinsonneault) Pedersen (Jon); and Brenda (Pinsonneault) Black (Brent Douglas).

Dear aunt to Billy Jo and Jon’s family — Brittany (Larsen) Baca (JD) and their children Wyatt Gibbs, Brook Gibbs, and Bowen Baca; Hailey Larsen and her children Kendell Bitterman, Waylon Bitterman, and Wylder Larsen; and Jon’s daughter Bridget (Botkin) (Jake) and their daughter Ada Botkin.

Lovingly remembered by Brenda’s family — Alexis (Black) Mortimer (Link) and their children Bella and Liam Mortimer; and Kirk Black (Catherine Tempest) and their daughter Callie Tempest.

Dear sister of Claudette (Pinsonneault) Sykes (Selvin Meredith) and Christine “George” (Pinsonneault) Shidler (Rodney). Fondly remembered by Claudette’s children Jamie-Sue Sykes and Mitchell Sykes (Jessica), and their son Weston. Remembered also by George and Rodney’s children: Clay Shidler (Susan), Blake Shidler, and Kim (Shidler) Hiers (JD) and their daughter Georgia Kay.

Susan will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her very large extended family.
Throughout her life, Susan embraced every chapter with strength, kindness, and humour. She enjoyed a variety of careers and was always eager to learn something new. Above all, Susan’s greatest joy came from her family — she loved them more than words can ever express. Her warmth and love will continue to be felt in the hearts of all who knew her.
