CAREY, Lorraine Patricia (nee EDWARDS)   –  We are saddened to announce the passing of our dear mother, on March 5, 2024, just weeks shy of her 97th St. Patrick’s Day Birthday!

Predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Larry; mom, Marjorie; brothers, Art, Bob and Emery; and numerous in-laws and cousins. Survived by her sister, Eleanor; brothers, Russ and Jack; and sister-in-law, Verna.

Loving mother to Steve (Anne), Joe (Deb), Greg, and Vincent (Ed). Devoted Nana to Eamon (Nicole), Melissa (Brent), and Daniel; and great-grandchildren, Patrick, Quinn and Will.

Lorraine will be missed by numerous cousins, friends, nephews and nieces.

Visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 10th, and from 11-12 noon on Monday, March 11th. Funeral Mass at noon and Interment to follow, all at Holy Cross Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill. No flowers please!
