LUCIANI, Donato Luciani

It is with heavy and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Donato, a loving Husband, Father and Nonno, on September 30, 2025. Donato passed away peacefully at WRH, Ouellette Campus while surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband to Adriana (nee Perciballi) with whom he celebrated 55 years of blessed marriage. Loving and devoted father to his children, David Luciani (Mary), Diana Luciani, Lora Jendroski (Mike). Cherished Nonno to his one and only grandchild, Chiara Luciani. Predeceased by parents Pietro and Filomena Luciani of Ripi, Italy. Dear brother to the late Santino Luciani (Valentina), the late Armando Luciani (Franca) of Venezuela, and surviving brother Battista Luciani (Joan) of Michigan. Adored brother in-law to Paolo Perciballi (Gisa), Franco Perciballi (AnnaRita) of Boville Ernica, Italy, John Perciballi, and Andrea Perciballi of Boville Ernica, Italy. He leaves behind many fond memories in the hearts of his cousins, nieces, nephews and family. He enjoyed gardening, reading the morning paper, playing cards, and making his homemade wine. He also enjoyed watching his favourite soccer team, Lazio, and watching the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 team races. Donato will be remembered for being a simple man who was content with what he had in life. He retired from the former Windsor Bumper and Perciballi Pools and Spas, and was a long-standing member of the Ciociaro Club of Windsor. Donato had a steadfast and unwavering love for his family, and displayed a generous heart towards all his family and friends. The Luciani family wishes to express their heartfelt and sincere thanks to Windsor-Essex EMS, Tecumseh O.P.P. and the dedicated doctors, nurses and I.C.U. staff at WRH, Ouellette Campus for their exceptional and compassionate care provided to Donato and his family. E.) 519-253-7235 on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 2:00 – 5:00p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00p.m. Funeral Services on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 10:15a.m. in procession from the funeral home then to St. Anne’s Church, Tecumseh (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E.) for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Donato, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
