LUCIER, Timothy Lucier

At only 63 years of age Tim Lucier, passed away at home while watching his beloved Detroit Red Wings. Heartbroken are his wife Nancy (Beaudoin), sons Ryan Lucier (Michelle), Matt Lucier, Dan Lucier, Cyle Champagne (Katie Potts), Logan Champagne (Tracy), and daughter Delanie Champagne (John Grager). Tim was so proud of all 12 grandchildren, Landen, Brayden, Johnny, Avery, Jaycee, Mila, Cece, Myles, Rowan, Maya, Dax and Dane. Predeceased by his parents Ron and Anna Mae Lucier (Hill), Tim was the oldest followed by his brother Terry Lucier (Tilley), sisters Lori Woelk (Darren) and Tracy Atkinson (Bill), brother-in-law to Richard Beaudoin (Mary), Linda Windham (Pete), Jane Beaudoin, Margaret Bouchard (Robert), predeceased by in-laws Tony and Irene Beaudoin and brother-in-law Tom Beaudoin. Tim also is mourned by nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Tim retired from Ford Motor Company in 2011 after 30 years of service, (which is the same year the grandchildren started coming).

Tim loved his sports! Playing baseball was his passion and he loved coaching hockey. You could always find Tim glued to the TV watching his Detroit Red Wings, Tigers, Lions, Pistons and U of M football and basketball, Nascar, and the list goes on. If family gatherings got too loud while Tim was watching a game or race you’d better believe someone was getting “The Look”.
