RICHARDSON, Lucille Richardson

Born on November 2, 1928, peacefully passed away at Mackenzie Health Centre in Richmond Hill, Ontario, on January 3, 2024, at the age of 95.

She was preceded in death by her best friend and husband of 61 years, Lyman; daughter, Linda; son, Doug; and granddaughter, Amy.

Lucille is survived by her sister, Lorraine; sons, Leslie and Gary; grandchildren, Wendy, Patrick, David, Kaitlin, Geoffrey; and Alexander; as well as great-grandchildren, Elliot, William, Cameron, Henry, Charlie, Jensen, and Nyla.

Lucille and Lyman’s love story began in the late 1940s when they met while she was working as a bank teller.

They raised a beautiful family and started their own business which allowed them to travel and visit different corners of the world.

Lucille treasured moments with her friends and loved ones, embracing new experiences with her outgoing nature.

Throughout the years, she explored various restaurants, becoming like family to owners and staff, delighting in sharing her favourite places with friends and family.

In accordance with Lucille’s wishes, there are no planned services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, you may contribute to the Sunnybrook Veterans Program as a meaningful tribute to her legacy.
