Passed away in his home in Beaverton Ontario
Predeceased by his parents Edward and Noreen Luckhart. Chris is the loving father of two daughters, Cystal and Monica. Chris cherished his girls. Brother to Matt Luckhart and his wife Linda Luckhart nee Osborne of Kincardine Ontario. Big brother to his sister Sharon Luckhart of Ormstown Quebec. Proud Grandfather to Jocelyn, Rowyn and Emmett. Uncle to Becky, Heather, Chad, Alesha and Amanda.
Chris loved his truck driving career ,hunting with his bow and fishing. Chris had a great talent of making and decorating his quiver and arrows with his own loom beading. Chris loved being out in the bush, lakes and rivers. Chris never wasted his game. Taxidermy was another passion Chris had in his younger years. Mounting fish such as salmon and also game he shot with his bow. Chris had a collection of hats and quivers which he made beautiful with his bead loom. Christopher enjoyed a quiet country living as well as many years in the city. Chris had a caring heart, upbeat personality. Chris always made an impression on his friends and family to look up to. Through his years long battle with cancer he never gave up when things got tough or hard. No matter his struggles Chris showed perseverance to get through the best he could. He had acceptance when it was truly needed and that was inspiring to see. Christopher loved to tell a lot of stories of his adventures in trucking, hunting and fishing. Having a great ability for story telling he brought them to life with his tone, gestures as he spoke with a huge smile. Anyone who had the privilege to spend time with Chris knew they were lucky to have known him and be his friend. Chris had a tight-knit group of close friends. Chris will be forever loved, forever missed and cherished. Chris will never be forgotten. We all love you Chris. You are at peace now. A celebration of life for Chris will be held at a later date.
