COPELAND, Lynn Marie Copeland

PELAND, Lynn Marie Copeland  –  Passed away peacefully, in her home on June 12, 2023, at the age of 58.

Lynn grew up in Milton, ON and, after several years of living and working around the world, settled in Thunder Bay.

Her most prized career of course, was being a mom to her beloved daughters, Hanna and Ayla, whom she encouraged to follow their passions and to have strong minds and free spirits, as she did.

Once her girls were older, Lynn returned to school and excelled in her class in engineering technology.

Five years ago, she met and fell in love with André, forming a relationship that lit Lynn up inside and out. André’s dedication, love and care remained steadfast when Lynn was ill, for which we are grateful.

Many who knew Lynn describe her as a beautiful soul. She made an impression on everyone she met, and had a graceful and uplifting demeanour that was like a breath of fresh air.

The expression of Lynn’s deep wisdom and creativity was revealed both in conversation and in her writing. Lynn was an amazing cook and baker, and could dance confidently around any kitchen, creating works of art that nourished those she cooked for with her love. Beloved mother, daughter, sister, auntie, partner and friend…Lynn is missed dearly.

Hanna and Ayla will carry Lynn’s guiding spirit with them as they move forward without her physical presence. We are eternally grateful for the imprint she has left on our hearts. Celebration(s) of Lynn’s life will take place in the coming months.
