MACAS, Agripina De Jesus Macas

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister Agripina De Jesus Belem Macas on June 7, 2025, at the age of 74. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous seven-year battle with cancer.

Agripina leaves behind her devoted husband Joao, loving daughters Elsa and Elizabeth, and her adored grandchildren Teana and Aiden. She will also be deeply missed by her siblings Belmira, Francisco, Luis, Jose, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends whose lives she enriched.

Agripina was born in Portalegre, Portugal in 1951. She brought with her a love of soccer, flowers, music, dancing, and an enduring devotion to her faith and family. Even in the face of adversity, she radiated gratitude and hope.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Assumption Catholic Funeral Home, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga, Ontario.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Cristo Rei Parish, 3495 Confederation Parkway, Mississauga. Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
