It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Lloyd MacDonald (Simcoe, Ontario), who passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark MacDonald and Ruby MacDonald of Cayuga; and his son Craig. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his grandchildren, Lauryn (Greg), Landon, Charles and Kenneth; his sisters, Lynda Miskelly (Gord) and Sheila Mozes; his siblings’ children, Rob Kinnear (Wanda), JoAnn Kinnear, Karen Gray, Theresa Secord (Gary) and Lisa Swent (Aaron); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew, Megan, Joey, Jesse, Tasha, Parker, Tyler, Brody, April, Amber and Alicia; and his friend Hugh’Hugger’McGilchrist.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jason Smith Funeral Chapel (689 Norfolk St N, Simcoe, ON N3Y3R3). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations to Norfolk General Hospital Foundation and Leukemia Foundation or to a charity of your choice will be graciously appreciated by the family through Jason Smith Funeral Home.
