Peacefully, at the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry on Monday, December 29, 2025, at age 94. Betty (nee Pretty), beloved wife of the late Ian MacDougall of Belleville and formerly of Ballyronan Road in Don Mills. Loved mother of Susan Beattie (Robert deceased) of Nazareth, Pennsylvania and Shirley Polito (Salvatore) of Port Perry. Loving grandmother of Jacquelyn (Doug Bartek), Shaun, Dominic (Trisha), Nicholas and Christopher (McKenna) and great grandmother of Kaitlyn and Emma. Dear sister of William Pretty (deceased) and his wife Madeline of Toronto and Jean O’Neill (deceased) of BC.

The Family of Betty MacDougall will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Saturday, April 4^th from 2 – 3 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 3 p.m. Private interment Belleville Cemetery in the Spring. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation or the Oak Ridges Hospice. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.waggfuneralhome.com
