MACGILLIVRAY, Michael Mike MacGillivray

Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at home on Tuesday September 9, 2025 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Brenda for 33 years. Loving father of Trish (John) Rodney, Kristy (Ryan) DeRose, Shane MacGillivray and Chante Brooker. Caring grandpa of Ayreanna, Brayden, Piper, Abby, Everly, Mason, Easton, Logan and Reid. Dear brother of Brenda (Joe) Wellman and brother in-law of Sam (the late Bruce) Janes and Linda (Mark) Stevens. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and his many four-legged friends. Mike had the job of a lifetime as manager of the Avalon Theatre at Fallsview Casino meeting many entertainers throughout the years. Mike was a long-time OHA referee for over 25 years and was inducted to the Niagara Falls Sports Wall of Fame in 2020 alongside his father and grandfather before. In his spare-time he enjoyed playing baseball, hockey, spending time with family & fur friends and snowmobiling with his friends.

Friends and family are invited to Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Sunday from 10 am to 12 pm. A funeral service will take place at 12pm followed by cremation.
