MACLEAN, Rose Mary MacLean

Joined her beloved husband of 71 years, John
Angus MacLean in their eternal resting place when she passed peacefully away on
September 12, 2025. Rose was born in Charlottetown, PEI on May 23, 1931.
Loving and devoted mother of Heather Ball (Steve), Garry MacLean (Joni and late
Barbara), Gail MacLean and John MacLean (Adrienne). Survived by her sister,
Pat Carstairs (Dave pre-deceased), Brother-in-law Gerald MacLean (Mavis) and
former son-in-law Larry Blackman. Dearly remembered by her precious
grandchildren Kristen (Zarnoosh), Derek (Amanda), Laura, Diana, Emily, Evan
(Elana), Courtney, Trina (David), Tracy, Jillian (Rob), Jasmin, Simone (Elisa),
John Carter (Mary), and Kyle (Emma); by her dearly loved great-grandchildren
Kareena, Allison, Elizabeth, Faye, Charlotte, Adriana and Casey. Predeceased by
her parents Austin Harold Brown and Florence Marie Brown (nee Gallant), sister
and brother-in-law Teresa and Walter Doucette, brothers Ervin, Bill, Bernard,
Winston, Fred and Joe Brown. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces,
nephews, cousins and cherished friends. Relatives and friends may call at
McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King
Street East, Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Monday, September 22, 2025 from 10:00
am until time of service, in the funeral home chapel, at 12:00 pm. Interment in
Mount Lawn Cemetery, Whitby. Donations (cheque only) in memory of Rose to
“Brookfield Presbyterian Church” (100 MacKenzie Rd. Route 256, North Milton,
Prince Edward Island C1E 2V1) or to Hospice Whitby – Roger Anderson House.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the
dedicated staff on Heritage Harbour, Fairview Lodge for their loving care of Rose

during her residence there.
