MACNAMARA, Shelagh Rose MacNamara

Passed away peacefully at Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care on Friday, November 28, 2025 at the age of 76.  She is predeceased by her father James MacNamara and her mother Rose MacNamara (Yezik).  She is survived by her brother Seaumus MacNamara (Pam) of Erinsville, ON and her sister Ann Clayburn of Stratford, ON.   Shelagh will be fondly remembered by her family and many friends.  Shelagh worked at Canada Post in Toronto for a number of years before returning home to take care of her mother.  After her mother passed, she worked at The Ashgrove Inn in Barry’s Bay.  Shelagh’s many interests included gardening, cooking, fishing, game nights, touring around Barry’s Bay on her scooter, and time spent with her friends.

As per Shelagh’s wishes, she was interred in St. Lawrence O’Toole cemetery in a private service attended by close family and friends.
