It is with a great sense of loss that we announce that the amazing Lawrence has closed the curtain on his amazing life at the age of 60 on Wednesday March 11, 2026. Lawrence has gone to join his beloved parents Lawrence and Rita (nee Murphy), his brother Charlie and sister Laura. Lawrence is survived by his sister Shirley (late Donald Parker) , his niece Judy (Tom Ainsaar) and nephew Scott (Tara) and his great-niece Jenna, great-nephews Carter, Nathan and Brody. Lawrence will be fondly remembered by his many cousins and friends.

Lawrence was larger than life. He was involved for many years with the theatre and will be greatly missed by his many producers, executives and fellow actors. Lawrence’s voice was ever present at many weddings and funerals and singing on Sunday’s and holidays in many area churches. His love of helping the community extended to his work with special needs students in Renfrew County.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Pinard and the wonderful staff at Bonnechere Manor for the care that was provided to Lawrence during his time there. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Renfrew on Friday April 10, 2026 at 11:00 am. A reception to follow. Spring interment parish cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to Diabetes Association or the Sunshine Coach “Friends of the Disabled”.
