MAINVILLE, Dean Joseph Mainville
January 8, 1964 - November 16, 2025
The family announces with great sadness the passing of Dean Mainville.
Dean’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his daughters, Kaylee and Jenna Mainville, whom he adored and cherished. He was the “fun dad” — endlessly enthusiastic, entertaining, and devoted. He taught his girls to bike, ski, and skate, supported them unconditionally, and celebrated every accomplishment with pride and love.
Dean is predeceased by his parents, Irene (née Phillippe) and Roland Mainville. He is survived by dear family members: Aunt Delia, cousins Tammy and Tom Gauthier; Uncle Rick, Aunt Fern, Jeanine, Searle, and Jessie Phillippe; and cousins Allan Rozon, Diane, Michael, and Raymond Arcand. Important people in Dean’s life include Rob Sharp & family, Ray Levier, Luc Labrie, and Sandra Comand.
Happiest in nature, Dean loved biking, fishing, canoeing, hiking, camping, and travelling. A talented athlete, he played for The Majors and completed several triathlons. Dean graduated from George Brown College with an Electronics Engineering Diploma and worked for many years as a computer technician.
Humble, genuine, and kind-hearted, Dean was loved by all who knew him.
Respecting his wishes, a private celebration of life was held in his honour. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre.
