MALLOY, Mary Julianne Moore Malloy

Passed away peacefully at Lisaard House
Hospice in Cambridge, at the age of 94.
Julie is predeceased by her husband Ernie, her mother and father, as well as her two brothers Francis (Jean) Malloy and John (Ruth) Malloy. Julie is survived by her three loving children, Ernie (MaryJane) Moore; Linda (Brett) Martin and Nancy (Ken) Chapman. Julie has 4 grandchildren Mathew Moore, Kelsey Martin, Devon (Fred) Blaise and Holly (Jesse) Hale; along with 2 great grandchildren Logan Blaise and Margot Hale. There are also numerous cousins who have remained close throughout her life.

Julie was born and raised in Perth, Ontario and as a young woman she worked for Jergens, at Quattrochi’s grocery and as a telephone operator. Julie loved to swim and never missed an opportunity to jump into the Tay River. She was an avid reader throughout her life and passed her joy of reading on to her children and grandchildren. Julie was committed to volunteer work throughout her life: Cancer clinic, MS and Meals on Wheels.

We would like to thank the Palliative Care Team – Dr. Tamara Holling, Michelle Hicks, and all the great palliative nurses; as well as the Doctors, Nurses and PSW’s and volunteers at Lisaard House. When she was moved to the hospice she said she loved her room and everyone was very kind. She received the best care we could hope for. Thank you

The Funeral Mass will be held at:
Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St N, Cambridge on Friday, September 19, 2025. There will be a Visitation at 10:00am followed by Mass at 11:00 am, with a reception following.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Lisaard House Hospice in Cambridge in Julie’s honour.

Interment will be at a later date for her immediate family
