LIEVONEN, Mamie Francis Lievonen

LIEVONEN, Mamie Francis (nee SEPPALA)  – Mamie passed away in Orillia, in her 98th year, on Thursday, July 20, 2023.

She was the daughter of Jalmar and Ella Luoma.

Dear wife of the late Paul Tapio Seppala and John Einar Lievonen; and stepmother to Mark (Lori) Lievonen and Lynn Lievonen.

Also survived by her step-grandchildren, Jeff (Hazel) and Holly Beth; great-grandson, Jonah Lievonen; and nephews, Paul and Leonard Seppala. Mamie was a retiree of the Toronto-Dominion Bank.

An ardent traveller, she cruised around the world four times, as well as to many other places such as South America, the Antarctic, Scandinavia, and others.

Mamie would like her many friends to know that she valued their friendship and the time spent together. Just raise a glass in remembrance!

Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, July 28th, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Carson Funeral Home, 54 Coldwater Street East, Orillia.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
