MARDEGAN, Mary Louise Mardegan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Louise Mardegan on August 23, 2025, at the age of 79.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and Nonna. Beloved wife of Mario for 57 cherished years. Loving mother of Dino (Nadia), Paul (late Elisa), and James (Sharie). She was adored by her grandchildren Sophia, Grace, Evan, Ava, Lana, Lucas, Alexa, and Katrina, who will forever hold their Nonna’s memory close.  Born to Giacomo and Luigia Citron,

Mary was a woman whose life was defined by extraordinary love, selflessness, and devotion to her family. She took care of everyone around her and always made it her mission to ensure her family knew how deeply she loved each of them. She never missed a detail, and her thoughtfulness, warmth, and care – and her little sense of adventure – touched all who knew her.

Mary will be dearly missed by her siblings Renato (Judy) and Linda (Gary) and is predeceased by her brother Julio (Cecilia). She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends, who will carry her spirit forward in their hearts.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home- South Chapel, 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236) on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 3:00-5:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 5885 Malden Road, Lasalle. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre Foundation in her memory.
