HERRINGTON, Margaret Eva Viola ‘Vi’ – (July 22, 1930 – December 26, 2015) –

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital in her 86th year.

Vi, beloved wife of Douglas Herrington for 62 years. Loving Mom of Kirk (Janet), Karen (Steve McNamara), Kim (Cary Badder) and Keith.  Cherished grandma of Eric, Meghan, Kyle and Caitlin, who are already missing her pumpkin pies.  Dear sister to Philipine/Phillis (Ted Humphreys) and the late Calvin (Kathleen) MacDonald.

Vi was a dedicated volunteer, spending many years contributing her time (and wonderful baking and knitting skills!) to Knox Presbyterian Church and to the Legion Ladies Auxillary.

Friends will be received at J.S. Jones and Son Funeral Home, Georgetown on Tuesday, December 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on December 30th at Knox Presbyterian Church, 116 Main Street South, Georgetown at 11:00 a.m.  Interment at Greenwood Cemetery on Saturday, January 2nd at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial contributions to Knox Presbyterian Church or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
