JONES, Marilyn – The family announces with deep sadness the passing of Marilyn Elaine Jones (nee Hook) on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the BGH.

Much loved mother of Brandon (Ela) of Brantford, Trevor of Sault Ste. Marie and Colin (Kate) of Whistler, B.C. Loving grandmother of Andrew and Zachary; Tristan; and Jackson.

Dear sister of Anna-Margaret Fountain (Tom) of Alliston, and Diane Mockridge of Calgary. Also loved by nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was a well-loved librarian at the Brantford Public Library and touched many lives through the shut-in services. She will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends at MCCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Rd. N. Brantford, ON on Friday, 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 3, at 1:00 pm. followed by cremation.

If wished, memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association gratefully appreciated.
