It is with earthly sadness that we share that mom, Marilyn Scammell has left this human tent and has now entered her eternal reward.  Mom’s prayer over that last many days has been to be with her Lord and saviour Jesus to whom she pronounce her deep and abiding love.  Marilyn was surrounded with the love of family and friends, her sons Paul and Steven (Lisa) at mom’s side till the end.  When we get to heaven our white robes will have been sewed by Saint Marilyn, because those hands never stopped on earth nor will they in the Kingdom of God.  As she praised God on earth so much greater is that praise around the throne.  Marilyn, beloved wife of the late Carl “Allan” Scammell.  Loving mother of Paul and his wife Tess and Steven and his wife Lisa.  Fondly remembered Grandma of Ben (Bailey), Jacob, Emma, Adam and Teesha (Lexzeer).  Survived by her twin brother William Webster and his wife Brenda.  Relatives and friends may call at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 11:00 am until time of service, in the chapel, at 12:00 pm.  Interment at Mount Lawn Cemetery.  Donations in memory of Marilyn may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Reapers in the Rain or King Street Pentecostal Seniors.  Online condolences may be shared at makfuneral.com
