MARKOWSKI, Sheila Markowski

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila Markowski on February 15, 2026, at the age of 80.

Born on November 22, 1945, Sheila lived a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth Markowski, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and unwavering partnership.

Sheila was a proud and devoted mother to her son, Shawn Markowski, and her daughter, Kelly Curtin, and a cherished mother-in-law to Todd Curtin. Nothing brought her greater joy than her grandchildren, Sydney and Kyle Curtin. She loved them beyond measure, spoke of them with endless pride, and treasured every moment spent with them.

Sheila had a deep love for animals, especially her cats, who always held a special place in her heart. She was an avid hockey fan, a talented knitter, loved to bake and attend church functions.

She and Ken shared a love of travel and adventure. From camping trips across Canada to exploring the world — including unforgettable visits to Ireland, Israel, Turkey, and many other destinations .

She also took great pride in everything Ford, supporting the company where her husband dedicated 45 years of hard work and commitment.

Above all, Sheila will be remembered as the best mom — kind, supportive, strong, and endlessly loving. Her warmth, love, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She leaves behind a family who adored her and countless memories that will be treasured forever.
