Mrs. Marie Ann Marriott, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg, at the age of 84.

Marie was born in Chatham and was a daughter of the late Ernest and Margaret (Van Kruyssen) Regnier.
Beloved wife, dance partner and best friend for over 40 years of Lloyd Seaton. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Terry (Diane) Marriott, Julie Khoury (Jalil) and the late Janice Moir (Jim).
Sadly missed by her grandchildren Dawn, Zain, Alexander, Brock, Melissa and her great grandchildren Taylin, James and Rosalee.

She is survived by Lloyd’s children Derek (Lena) Seaton, Dwayne Seaton, and the late Gary Seaton (Ann) and all of their families.
Kind sister of Don (Rheta) Regnier, Wilfred (Carrie) Durance, Diane (the late Rene) Kleuskens, Annette (Paul) Specht, Rose (Walter) Northcott and the late Ernest Durance and the late Mary Toulouse (the late Bob).
She will always be remembered by Albert Marriott, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Marie enjoyed shouting BINGO and hitting the big jackpots at the casino. She cherished the relaxing car rides that Lloyd and her often took together.

Arrangements entrusted to the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd., 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
In following with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ronald McDonald House may be left at the funeral home or on the RMH website in Marie’s memory.
