MARSHALL, George Allison Marshall – Obituary

MARSHALL, George Allison – At age 67, of Papineau Lake, Hastings County, Ontario died suddenly on September 29, 2015. 

George was predeceased by his parents, Rev. Lloyd George and Elvera Mildred Elizabeth Marshall and nephew Paul Marshall. 

He is survived by his wife Yanhua and stepson Edmond Chee of Belize, Central America; sister Jean Probyn (Neville, deceased); brothers Gerald (Lesley) and Donald (Sue) Marshall.

Remembered by his nephew David Probyn; nieces Lauren (David) Doucette, Dr. Linda (James McCarvell) Probyn and Suzanne LeBlanc. 

George was a graduate engineer from The University of Waterloo and worked in the mining industry in Canada and around the world until his retirement. 

A service of remembrance for family and friends will take place at St. Andrew’s-Bethel United Church, 6A Church St., Maynooth on Thursday, October 8th at 2:00 p.m. 

In remembrance of George, donations can be made to Hospice North Hastings or a charity of choice.
