REED, Mary Ann – On Wednesday, December 30, 2015, Mary Reed, formerly a resident of Chesley and Paisley, passed away in her 81st year at the Southampton Care Centre.

Mary is survived by her sister, Marie Christie of Tara; sister-in-law Islah Reed of Tara; and brother-in-law Terrence Dugan of Kitchener-Waterloo. 

Predeceased by her parents Charles and Jennie Reed, brothers Norman, Arthur, and Bobby (Mary’s twin), sisters Isabelle, Dorothy McGill, Edna Crigger, and Thelma Dugan. 

Aunt Mary will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held in the Spring of 2016.  Times, dates and location will be announced in advance to the service.

Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #144, Chesley, the Canadian Cancer Society or the St. John’s United Church, Chelsey, would be appreciated by the family.

We are very thankful for the kindness, patience, compassion and support of the Southampton Care shown to Mary during her time there.
