Lewis MaureenLEWIS, Maureen Elizabeth (nee Martin) – Carried into the immediate and eternal presence of God on Monday, October 12, 2015 at her residence in Allendale Long Term Care, Milton, in her 90th year of life.

Predeceased by her husband, the Rev. W. George Lewis (1995), with whom she served as a dedicated and capable partner in various areas of Christian ministry.

Dear step-mother of the late Gareth Lewis (2000) (Priscilla), Julie and Paul Comeau, and the Rev. Rod and Olive Lewis.

Lovingly remembered by generations of families and friends in Canada and Great Britain.

Her community is invited to gather for fellowship at the J. Scott Early Funeral Home, 21 James St., Milton, Ontario on Tuesday, October 20th from 6-8 p.m.

A Service of Thanksgiving and Praise will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 170 Main St. E., Milton, on Wednesday, October 21st at 11 a.m., preceded by a time for visiting fellowship beginning at 10 a.m.

Much and sincere appreciation is expressed to Dr. Ivan Hunter, the caring staff at Nelson House, the devoted Christian spiritual community at Allendale, the loving congregation of Knox Presbyterian Church, especially Pastor Howard Sullivan and Karl and Helen Reichert, Maureen’s many dear friends in the Milton community, and Rebecca Hunter at the J. Scott Early Funeral Home.

Maureen loved to worship God at Knox Presbyterian Church, therefore her family requests that any donations be made to that church as an honour to her.
