MAY, Diane Margaret (O’Leary) May

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Margaret May at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the age of 74.

Diane will be forever loved and missed by her sons, Matthew (Wendy) and Shawn (Sara), and her cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Devon, and Lyla. She is also survived by her brother, Mike O’Leary (Sue), and her sister, Sue Mitchell (late Paul).

Diane’s beloved Don brought her great joy in the final chapter of her life. Though their time together was short, it was among the happiest moments she ever experienced.

Diane’s passion for knitting helped create countless cherished memories. Through her needles, she expressed love, warmth, and generosity—gifts that will continue to bring comfort for generations to come.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Lakeridge Health for their dedication and compassion in making Diane’s time there comfortable and dignified.

Celebration of Life

A celebration of Diane’s life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared by the family.
